We were looking for a pad that would provide a firmer surface to counteract the mattress we currently have. I won’t mention the mattress brand, as the company did replace it and issue a refund, but after a short period of time both the original and replacement mattresses broke down around the perimeter. It was clearly a manufacturing defect in the hybrid construction or possibly an issue related to packaging.
Our solution was this mattress pad, and it has been excellent. The only minor complaint is that it doesn’t include straps to hold it in place. That said, the pad is very heavy, and its weight does a good job of keeping it stationary.
Back soreness has disappeared for both my wife and me, and we regularly comment on how much it has helped. I am generally a side sleeper, and firmer surfaces can sometimes create pressure-point issues, but this pad manages to provide firmness without cutting off circulation. My wife is a stomach sleeper, and our mattress without this pad is a complete disaster for her.
I recommend the Organic pad with the Bamboo cover. Being organic also adds peace of mind, knowing you’re not sleeping on chemicals, while still providing excellent comfort.
I’m a returning customer. I bought a new mattress so I thought I’d buy a new topper. I will still use the old one for somewhere else , though. This is the best topper you’ll ever find.
