I used this over the winter in North Texas. I would still run hot and at times had to remove during the night. I only slept with this and a sheet and wore cotton jersey pj's. I do have a foam mattress which could be the culprit. Was hoping I could use in the summer, but will have to remove. Looks nice on the bed with my duvet cover. Feels a bit heavy while on me.

My house is cool at night (62 degrees), and I found this comforter alone is not warm enough! Will exchange for a warmer one! Otherwise it has a nice texture. Low profile (not very bulky).

I was hesitate purchasing this item as I tend to like to hold the material in my hands to get the feel of them. I did spend months looking for one in the stores around me, but could not find one that met my expectations. So I made this purchase with caution and reliance on the reviews thus far. My husband and I wanted a comforter that of course would keep us warm, but not over-heat as I have hot flashes in the night. Also, and just as important, we did not want feathers from a goose as the filling as we are animal lovers and despite the promise of human treatment, we did not want to cause harm to another sentient being. Another factor was the sound that the comforter would make as we shifted our positions during the night. Our last one was loud and started to irritate me, but this one is quieter, much to my relief. We used this comforter during the winter and it kept us warm and now during our spring. I must also say that it feels light weight but provides warmth and comfort. It also is soft against the skin! It was a good purchase and I'm glad I researched and found this one!

When I received it I wasn't too sure about it because it doesn't have a lot of loft -- I was pleasantly surprised. I keep the room temp at 65 in the winter (20 degrees outside) and this comforter provides more than enough warmth.

I live in los angeles and this comforter is absolutely perfect. It has zero smell of any chemicals. It actually smells like I am in the fresh air of nature. It is thin yet full, and a good sturdy weight (it is not a big fluffy cloud-which I thought I wanted) It’s extremely well made. I love it. My only wish is that it was bigger, I got the king and it fits well on my king- however I recommend they make it in an oversize king option as well. My man loves it because he is not sweating to death in it. It truly does stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It’s perfect, and I highly recommend it. Enjoy!
